Como City What to See
Como is the city from wich the lake take its name, with its evocative historic centre, 12th-century city walls and its elegant and charming villas such as Villa Olmo. Villa Olmo was commissioned by Innocenzo Odelaschi and named after an ancient elm tree. The Villa was designed by the architect Simone Cantoni in 1797.

The Como Cathedral (Duomo di Como) is one of Lombardy region’s most known historical building. Begun in 1396 by the Maestro Comacini, the Duomo was finished in 1740.
